Give the TDSB an “F” Monday
For the past few weeks, the TDSB’s handling of Bill 115 and fall Progress Reports has done nothing but inflame tensions between teachers, principals, and parents and sow confusion. In stark contrast to the majority of schools boards across Ontario, the TDSB allowed Principals to withhold Progress Reports completed by teachers in accordance with Ministry of Education requirements.
As a result confused parents were denied access to completed reports and sent false information concerning their status.
On Monday, December 3, 2012, from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m., stand with colleagues, parents, and concerned community members at the board office (5050 Yonge Street) and let the TDSB know that its actions have been unacceptable.
Encourage your colleagues, co-workers, friends, and family to join us in protest!
For more information please contact Eugene James, Executive Officer, at ejames@ett.on.ca or Phyllis Hession-White, Executive Officer, at phession-white@ett.on.ca.
